pre_post_measures

1. Preoperative measures : During embryo transfer, 1 or maximum 2 embryos can be transferred in the uterus to avoid risk. :new:Decision about single or double embryo transfer is to be made depending on following factors of the patient – :new:Age :new:History of previous IVF failure :new:History of medical disorders like hypertension, diabetes mellitus, coagulation disorders etc. :new:Patient’s will new:Bad Obstetric history

2. Postoperative measures : Relevant medications are to be prescribed to the patient. :new:Patient should be asked to follow-up after 14 days to do a pregnancy test i.e., beta HCG test to determine the result of the IVF cycle. :new:In addition, the patient should be advised the following points- :new:Although bed rest is not required after embryo transfer, avoiding lifting heavy weight and any strenuous exercise. :new:Taking healthy diet inclusive of antioxidants and avoiding outside food. :new:Avoid using public washrooms and maintain proper hydration to avoid urinary tract infection. :new:Avoid any stress and negative thoughts. :new:Take medications prescribed after embryo transfer properly
